“Best of the Main Line” is no small distinction, but that’s exactly the most recent honor bestowed upon Dr. Michael Grossman, whose podiatry practice is based in Ardmore, Pennsylvania. Main Line Foot and Ankle Center’s motto is “We put your feet first” – and the awards that are proudly displayed at his office are proof that his practice is living up to that credo.
A long-time friend of Medical Solutions Supplier (back when our National Sale Team Leader Eric Ansart was pounding the pavement in his territory) Dr. Grossman has been published in Podiatry Today and the Journal of Foot Surgery and has a high profile in the Delaware Valley as a community leader and Official Podiatric Surgeon for the Philadelphia 76ers basketball team!
Yes, Dr. Grossman can be found at every Sixers home game. “I had a hard time saying no to that opportunity,” he says. Some of the allure might be attributed to his own love of sport. Despite a successful practice, multiple institutional affiliations and a hugely important position as Chief of Podiatry for The Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA, Dr. Grossman carves out time each morning for his passion—cycling. He wakes up at 4:30 every morning and rides from 5—6 AM, which explains the terrific shape he’s in. He even participated in the prestigious Maccabi Games in recent years.
Because of his love of cycling, Medical Solutions Supplier presented him with a custom cycling trophy to recognize his “Best of the Main Line” honor; a trophy that is now on display at his office.
The end of his morning ride is not the start of his workday, however. You’ll find Dr. Grossman every morning at 7 AM at his beloved Har Zion synagogue, where he also serves as an Executive Board Member “It keeps me honest,” says Dr. Grossman with a smile. Truth be told, honesty and service are foundational to his way of life. “I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to pursue as a career,” he recalls. “I just knew that I wanted to help people.”
And so he does, with a focus on prevention. “My philosophy is to treat my patients as if they were my own family,” explained Dr. Grossman. “I entered the field of podiatry because I didn’t want to lose anyone and didn’t want to hurt anyone—and it is ultimately so gratifying to save limbs and restore quality of life to people who are suffering.”
He’s talking the language of Medical Solutions Supplier! “It is a privilege to work with Dr. Grossman,” added Ed Davis, who appears in the photo above to the left of Dr. Grossman. “He genuinely cares about his patients and is passionate about offering them the very best treatment.”
