Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks New Chapter for Medical Solutions Supplier

Published: 13 November, 2012

Glen Mills, PA – Medical Solutions Supplier, an industry- leading provider of breakthrough products that treat circulatory disorders and their resulting conditions, will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, November 19th at 9:30 a.m. to celebrate the company’s move to 12,000 square feet of newly-renovated space in Glen Mills, PA. Though the 9 LaCrue Avenue address remains the same, Medical Solutions Supplier has moved the majority of its offices to an open floor plan on the second floor, representing a significant increase of almost 8,000 square feet in much-needed space.

“When I founded this company in 1994, we operated from my townhome’s basement with just two full-time employees – including me,” remarked Steve Kantor, Medical Solutions Supplier President. “Our growth has been steady, but even more gratifying is the thousands of testimonies from patients we have helped over the years. This new space will allow us to further expand the ways we improve quality of life for so many.”

Medical Solutions Supplier employs over 30 employees based at the Glen Mills corporate office and another 30+ sales representatives assigned to serve territories throughout the country. “We currently produce about 35 times the yearly business we had in 2004, which is a credit to the efficacy of the products we sell, a corporate culture that encourages personal and professional success and the quality of people who comprise our team,” added Joseph Carberry, Chief Executive Officer. Carberry was recently named 2012 Emerging Leader of the Year by the Main Line Chamber of Commerce. “We currently help more than 800 new patients a month, and in the last three years alone almost 25,000 individuals have benefitted from Medical Solutions Suppliers pneumatic compression pump therapy.”

Compression pump therapy helps to alleviate chronic pain and reduce swelling for those suffering from conditions such as lymphedema and venous disease. The devices also speed up the healing of chronic wounds in the comfort of a patient’s home. What distinguishes Medical Solutions Supplier from other companies distributing this equipment is the level of service offered to medical professionals and patients. “Our compression pump therapy specialists are constantly meeting with wound care centers and doctors’ offices to provide support and education about our products,” noted Eric Ansart, National Sales Manager. “Once the equipment has been prescribed, we work with insurance providers to ensure coverage and personally guide our patients through their first therapy session to help them become comfortable with the use of the equipment.” This unique focus on service is a hallmark of Medical Solutions Supplier, which is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).

From active involvement in the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, to quarterly charity initiatives, Medical Solutions Supplier places a high priority on good corporate citizenship – and giving back to the communities it serves. “That’s why we want our community to know about this new chapter in our corporate history,” explained Kantor. “In tough economic times, it is all the more important to highlight good news. Our new office space is just one component of a Delaware County success story, and we want to share it with our neighbors.”

Representatives from Media Real Estate, the leasing agent for the offices at 9 LaCrue Avenue, as well as from office furniture vendor G.V. Anthony, will be on hand for the ribbon-cutting, as will all of the proud members of the Medical Solutions Supplier team.
