The Main Line Chamber of Commerce has announced that Joseph Carberry of Medical Solutions Supplier in Glen Mills, PA will be awarded the 2012 Emerging Leader Award at the Chamber’s AA Celebration of Business Leadership awards luncheon on June 27, 2012.
A Celebration of Business Leadership brings together the Main Line business community, family and friends to recognize and reward outstanding leadership and achievement. Carberry’s nomination noted his “passion to build a company that reflects his own beliefs and the beliefs of company founder Steve Kantor.”
Kantor founded Medical Solutions Supplier (MSS) in 1994. It is now an industry-leading provider of breakthrough products that treat circulatory disorders and their resulting conditions. Kantor mentored Carberry, who was brought on board in 2004 to develop the company’s sales strategy. The Emerging Leader Award recognized Carberry’s success at “energizing a group of caring, committed people to dedicate themselves to the people who need help the most—patients.”
MSS serves patients throughout the nation who find hope, help and relief from lymphedema, venous disease, chronic wounds and arterial disease. The compression pump therapy provided through Medical Solutions Supplier is non-invasive and proven effective in increasing circulation, rapid healing and limb preservation.
“Improving quality of life one patient at a time is our motto,” remarked Carberry, whose leadership has enabled MSS to shatter sales records in a down economy. “Educating physicians—and patients—of the results possible through the use of compression pump therapy is an ongoing focus. Our personal attention empowers individual patients to use the pumps effectively, and the success stories of how quality of life is dramatically improved make the effort more than worthwhile.”
Aside from his professional accomplishments, Carberry is also a community leader. “Giving back has always been one of the core values of our company,” noted Steve Kantor. “From spearheading food drives to choosing a charity to benefit each quarter, we believe in making a positive difference in the regions we serve.” Carberry’s personal involvement has included participation in the Susan Reiley Memorial Run; the Muscular Dystrophy Foundation’s annual fundraising campaign to provide summer camp scholarships to those with MD; and support for Home Front of Pennsylvania and Delaware, which benefits returning veterans and their families.
The A Celebration of Business Leadership awards luncheon will take place on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the The Desmond Great Valley Hotel and Conference Center in Malvern. For more information on this event, contact The Main Line Chamber of Commerce at 610-687.6232 or visit www.mlcc.org.
