Medical Solutions Supplier proudly participated in the MuckFest for MS, which was held on the grounds of the the Glen Mills Schools on June 4, 2016.
The MuckFest MS event series has surpassed $20 million raised by participants and volunteers to support the work of the National MS Society. MuckFest MS is a fun mud and obstacle 5K event series that takes place in 11 cities throughout the country. For team “Mudical Solutions” 2016 marked the 5th consecutive year of participation. The team, led by captain Marie Morroni, willingly slogged through mud and overcame outrageous obstacles like a giant Spider Web, a Belly Crawl and much more.
With a generous company match a total of $3,250 was raised to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS.
In 2014 alone, the Society invested $50.2 million to advance more than 380 research projects around the world in order to stop MS in its tracks, restore what has been lost and end MS forever. Through its comprehensive nation-wide network of programs and services, it also devoted $122.2 million to help more than one million people affected by MS connect to the people, information and resources needed to live their best lives.
