The October Lipedema Patient Roundtable was “buzzing” with good conversation and good humor as the panelists continued the tradition of dressing up for Halloween. From Cara Cruz’s homemade iced coffee costume to Jenny Beaujean’s sparkly unicorn, the visuals were only surpassed by the quality of the questions asked and answered.
A flurry of inquiries surrounding menopause and its impact on lipedema were deftly handled by Linda Anne Kahn, along with questions about fibrotic constriction rings in the limbs. The value of manual lymph drainage was also underscored.
Pattie Cornute‘s multi-tasking self-care regime offered tips for incorporating meditation and masks while using her Lympha Press. This “me time” concept led to a discussion about healthy boundaries, saying “no” to adding more to your plate, and not being guilted into handling more than is healthy.
